Job Overview
Nu-Tek BioSciences is seeking a motivated, technically capable Senior Inside Sales Representative to own early-stage customer engagement, expand and maintain our sales funnel, and accelerate cycle times on new/inbound opportunities. This on-site role reports to the Chief Business Officer and partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
The Senior Inside Sales Representative will manage inbound funnels, own house accounts, drive lead development, maintain CRM hygiene, and provide pre- and post- trade show support to maximize commercial impact.
Responsibilities
• Manage the full sales cycle for assigned house accounts.
• Drive ongoing follow-ups, recurring orders, and forecasting updates to maintain steady revenue flow.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day commercial contact for house accounts, providing timely, professional customer support.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and repeat-order opportunities within existing accounts.
• Escalate strategic or complex opportunities to senior sales or technical leadership as appropriate.
• Execute proactive lead development and outbound prospecting across the company target list and marketing channels by identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential leads through cold calling, targeted email campaigns, online research, and sales tools.
• Support early-stage opportunity development for strategic accounts.
• Maintain visibility into future pipeline opportunities, even when deals are not immediately active.
• Own inbound opportunities, including website inquiries, emails, and sample requests, from intake through qualification.
• Act as the primary owner and operator of the CRM (Pipedrive), ensuring clean data, accurate deal stages, and complete contact records.
• Drive cadence discipline and funnel progression; track and report pipeline, activity, and conversion metrics for leadership.
• Support pre-show planning by pulling attendee lists, identifying priority contacts, and booking meetings.
• Load and manage trade show and event leads in the CRM; coordinate structured post-show follow-up and reporting.
• Support sales and marketing teams by ensuring timely handoff and qualification of event-generated leads.
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in a science discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, food science)
• 3-7 years of inside sales, technical sales, or business development experience
• Proven success managing inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and transactional revenue
• Strong CRM experience with disciplined funnel management (Pipedrive – Preferred, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other)
• Sales experience in technical, scientific, or manufacturing environments—such as cell culture media or production materials—is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Able to positively influence others
• Great team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work without sponsorship
