We are expanding our leadership and seeking a talented, committed, and growth focused individual to join our team. In addition to the general strategic work, this role will directly support the further build out of our finance and FP&A advisory offerings. As such, it is required that you have experience in life sciences/healthcare finance analysis (e.g. budget, long-range plan, cash management, etc.). This is an exciting opportunity to make direct contributions in shaping both client outcomes and the evolution of our firm.

Role Responsibilities

• Work closely with both internal and external teams to generate, oversee, and advance our financial analytics capabilities and client engagements
• Support BD activities; new client identification, project expansion, pitch material and proposal development, promotion of Spinnaker’s differentiated brand and value proposition
• Act as project-lead on consulting engagements, ensuring the highest quality services are provided to new and existing clients
• Develop client ready materials in a variety of media to ensure effective communication of key insights
• Provide guidance and support to client and consulting team members, acting as the go-to resource for questions or challenges
• Foster professional development and team culture

Qualifications and Skills

• [REQUIRED] 4+ years of experience in life sciences finance consulting, investment banking, or FP&A at an established biotech/pharma company
• MBA, other equivalent advanced degree, or extended duration of applicable life sciences finance employment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial modeling
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other related tools or technology
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Positive attitude and work ethic, understands the importance of workplace culture
• Excited about the prospect of helping to build our company

Location

• This position is for the Boston office. We will also consider Minneapolis.
• We use a hybrid schedule and are in person a minimum of three days per week
