Role Overview: This individual must be energized by making and maintaining business relationships, be self-motivated, and love being part of a team. This role will identify opportunities with existing members to engage with our healthcare ecosystem and prospects utilizing sales tools to introduce them to Medical Alley and help guide sponsored engagement options. Responsible for building executive-level relationships and supporting key initiatives by connecting with existing or prospective partners.
This position leverages data insights/analytics to drive strategic revenue growth and operational excellence. As a Partnership Manager, the employee will be designated an industry sector portfolio and is expected to cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners to grow the business portfolio against yearly revenue targets—lead program development for key stakeholders, and optimize lead generation through CRM management and innovative strategies.
Position Structure: The Partnership Manager role requires strategic vision, analytical acumen, and a collaborative approach to effectively align partnership and data-driven goals. The Partnership Manager will also be a functional partner to other teams, supporting membership. This position reports to the Vice President of Partnerships.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with key partners within the Medical Alley health ecosystem, overseeing and managing an assigned portfolio of partners, which would include the following responsibilities:
• Build a Partner Pipeline. Managing a new partner pipeline by identifying new potential partners that fit within the strategic direction of Medical Alley and actively converting contacts to paying partners through proactive outreach, introductions, connections, and meetings to educate on benefits and the value proposition.
• Negotiate Terms. Negotiate agreements with partners to manage expectations and commitments to align with internal and external best practices.
• Renewal Process. Manage yearly renewal of partner memberships, responsible for managing the process and reporting.
• Partner Satisfaction. Responsible for partners satisfaction through day-to-day direct contact and yearly surveys. Solicit feedback, analyze information, and recommend and implement improvements as appropriate.
• Strategizing. Develop Strategies to grow and optimize partnerships and enhance the company’s market presence.
• Ensuring Success. Ensuring the successful engagement and governance of partnerships. Tracking and measuring year over year retention, growth, conversion, and “customer” satisfaction rates Personal success includes performance measures against goals and benchmarks in these categories.
• Develop initiatives to engage leaders from partner organizations for networking and professional development opportunities.
• Present and manage key engagement and sponsorship opportunities across the Medical Alley community.
• Represent Medical Alley at events and meetings, fostering relationships within the healthcare community.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks related to membership, including new member onboarding, data entry, and generating engagement reports.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Strong ability to build relationships across C-suite organizational levels.
• Strong sales skills with proven sales record and understanding of sales funnels and probability reporting.
• 4+ years of customer relations experience with a focus on retention
• Professional presence with outstanding verbal and written communication skills o Strong presentation skills. Ability to build and present using PowerPoint.
• Project management skills
• Strategic thinker who is creative, collaborative, high energy, and concise
• Dedicated to quality service with a high regard for ethics and integrity
• Cross-functional collaboration skills
• Health industry experience is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree
Position Details:
Category: This is a full–time, exempt, hybrid position working primarily days, Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 – 5:00. Required “in office” days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. The position is situated in a typical office setting requiring the applicant to sit for extended periods and have general mobility around the office, including moving to different workstations, attending meetings, and accessing common areas like restrooms and break rooms. This position is frequently outside the office for meetings and other functions.
Must have reliable transportation. Occasional travel and flexibility to work weekends or evenings, as required.
