Integration Engineer

Job Description

The Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, demoing, documenting, and maintaining robust integration solutions. This includes working with APIs, data mapping, and various integration platforms to ensure efficient and reliable system interoperability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, an understanding of various integration patterns, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions using various technologies and platforms.
• Implement and maintain dashboards for integration solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes and solutions.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and support.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging integration technologies and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in integration engineering, sales engineering, technical consulting or a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer workflows and business requirements
• Proven experience with API design, development, and management (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., ETL, Pub/Sub, Request/Reply).
• Familiarity with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
