Senior Software Engineer - Django/REST API

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework. The ideal candidate will bring strong Python expertise and experience with modern cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture discussions
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Implement security best practices and API authentication mechanisms
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Python and Django development
• Strong experience with Django Rest Framework and RESTful API design principles
• Solid understanding of database design and ORM concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Working knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Understanding of API security best practices and authentication protocols

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
