About this role:

Atmosphere is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to support our Finance and Accounting team. A key figure on the Accounting Team, this role is critical in our Revenue and Accounts Receivable processes, helping ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections from advertising industry clients. This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform revenue recognition activities including application of relevant GAAP to revenue arrangements
• Manage monthly revenue-related tasks and analysis including monthly invoicing and revenue close processes
• Manage and execute monthly and quarterly billing and collection related activities
• Support external auditors during year-end audits, addressing any revenue and cost of revenue related inquiries or issues
• Work closely with our Advertising Account Management and Sales teams to resolve any account or billing related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Revenue Accounting
• Demonstrable understanding of GAAP Accounting Principles specifically ASC 606 Accounting for Revenue Contracts with Customers
• Experience in executing customer invoicing functions
• Prior experience in auditing at a Big 4 or National Accounting Firm is a plus
• Experience in advertising industry is a plus
• Proficiency with Netsuite, Stripe, and SalesForce is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
